Maison Noir Wines, In Sheep's Clothing Cabernet Sauvignon (2022)

Maison Noir Wines, In Sheep's Clothing Cabernet Sauvignon (2022)

REGION: Columbia Valley, Washington

COUNTRY USA

GRAPE(S): Cabernet Sauvignon

BODY: medium-full

ABV: 13.7%

Pale ruby color, medium to full bodied, medium/low tannins, juicy. Pronounced aromas of black fruit (blueberries, black cherry, plum), and a hint of graphite, anise, thyme, and bayleaf. Delivers a ripeness of fruit flavors while preserving the acidity that gives the wine a sense of freshness. With layers of cassis, blueberries, and black cherries, this wine lends to a New World style of fruit with more of an Old World structure with a hint of wood smoke.

WINEMAKING NOTES: Maison Noir was founded by sommelier André Hueston Mack in 2007 and incorporates a trademark attitude and personal perspective on wine subculture. The wines are unique and distinctive garage wines, initially created for some of the New York's best restaurants for whom Mack was a sommelier.

PAIRS WELL WITH: Roast beef sandwich
