TASTING NOTES: Bright, clear, ruby red color. Hints of Marchello red cherry, tart raspberry, and sweet almond finish. Dry on the palate with notes of dried herbs and red fruits. Great balance and velvety tannins round out the long finish.
WINEMAKING NOTES: Crushing and de-stemming are followed by inoculation with selected yeasts to start the fermentation in stainless steel vats. Frequent pump-overs. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation begins after the alcoholic fermentation is complete. Aged 6 months in stainless steel vats followed by a minimum of 3 months of bottle aging.
