TASTING NOTES: Bright refreshing summer citrus notes with high acidity! Think grapefruit-lemonade carbonation overload.
WINEMAKING NOTES: Produced using organic and biodynamic farming practices, with 80% de-stemmed grapes. Spontaneous fermentation occurs over 4 weeks in amphora using indigenous yeasts. The wine is pressed before the 4-week fermentation in amphora is complete, with residual sugar added to allow the fermentation to continue in the bottle. It is not disgorged, leaving natural sediments.
FUN FACT: Grapes are sourced from a nephew and neighbor of the producer in a nearby town. They are placed in 20kg boxes and taken to Bojo do Luar cellar, 7km away, by a small pickup truck, in which only 38 boxes could fit at a time. Hence, the inspiration for the name of the wine.
