TASTING NOTES: Berry fruit aromas like cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, balanced by hints of herbs. On the palate are flavors of ripe blackberries, juicy plums, tart cranberry, violet, and pepper. Drinks like a light red or a dark rosé. Savory, dry, and extremely easy-drinking. 

WINEMAKING NOTES: The fresh juice from Cayuga White grapes was soaked on the skins of noble grapes. The low-sugar Cayuga grapes were not chapitalized  (meaning no added sugars) and no yeasts or other additives were used. The wine was then soaked on the skins of Pinot Noir and Blaufrankisch to impart flavor, and texture, and a cherry hue.

PAIRS WELL WITH: Salmon with a berry reduction sauce, roasted vegetables or Ratatouille, grilled chicken or pork in an herb marinade, charcuterie board.
